Apple Crunch

4-5 apples, peeled and sliced
Put in bottom of 8x8 inch pan.

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 TBS. cornstarch
Mix together and cook until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and add 1 TBS. vanilla. Pour over apple slices.

1 cup flour
¾ cup rolled oats
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ cup butter
Mix together and crumb over top of apples. Bake at 350* for 1 hour. Serve with ice cream.
