1 cup chopped celery
1 onion chopped
3 potatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 TBS. sugar
pepper
Put in pot and add water to barely cover potatoes. Stir with fork. Cook until tender.
Add: 2 cups half and half
2 cups milk
Whip together: 1 cube butter (1/2 cup)
3/4 cup flour
Stir into soup to thicken. Add 1/2 lb. grated cheddar cheese
